I have a 2010 Q7i that we enjoy immensely. For the past few months, I have noticed something is banging against the fiberglass in the space underneath the console floor panel. I have been told that there is nothing there, but it seems like a bracket has loosened and is banging against the side when I cross over waves or hit turbulence. Has anyone else experienced this? If so what was the problem? Thanks.

Take a look by way of what ever access you can find and see what you can see. Take a few pictures as well to post.

Lots of boat are made with the cockpit floor resting or nearly resting on the stringer grid. When you hit waves, etc., the boat flexes and the floor and the structure can 'slap' together.

I have the exact same issue. It looks like the fiberglass that is below the helm is separate piece and rubs/bangs the fiberglass from the main deck. Have you found a solution? Ive seen a similar thread a few years ago but no clear solutions posted
