I was looking at a 1990 Bluewater Executive Cuddy the other day. Seems a reasonably versatile boat. How good is it in a 2-3' chop? Anyone using ti for fishing/overnighting around San Juan Islands or other saltwater areas of NWP?

I bought a Bluewater Marque22 this spring, but have only had it out a little before brringing her out to work on the outdrive and re-do the bottom paint. In my test runs, I found her to be excellent crossing large wakes, far smoother than my earlier 20 foot Bluewater MonteCarlo. We went with this bigger hull for many reasons, one of which is to be safe and at least reasonably confortable in Columbia River chop, which can easily reach 2 or more feet on a brisk day.. All too often we headed out on smooth waters in the AM, only to head back to Portland bouncing like a mad bronk, and wet to the bone from spray. The 22 Cuddy cuts through with a smooth up and down instead of bouncing.slam up and slam down.. If you already got the boat, tell us about it,
