Livewell Drain Question

Hoping for some help as I'm planning the resto on my boat and am adding a livewell. I'm not sure what I'm missing but how do they drain? I've got a thru hull on the transom for the pump and an overflow drain on the side. Do I need to add another separate thru hull on the transom for a drain or is there a way to train it out the same outlet as the pump intake? I hate the idea of adding extra holes!
