Question about Hydrofoil

I bought a jon boat and it has pods on it with a 50 hp Yamaha. It takes forever to plain out and if im by myself it hops all over.

So I was thinking about buy a whale tail (Hydrofoil) but was wondering if anybody with pods on their boat have this problem and how they fixed it.
