I recently found this boat and I am getting it for free. I know it's an Arkansas Traveler. The thing is I fish a lot and was wondering if this boat could be used as a bay boat. I'm not too familiar with these boats and would love any info on this boat I could get and if it's saltwater worthy.

Also any advice on the best products for dealing these boats from leaks.

Hmmm its a tin boat so that is good. Fixing the leaks would depend on what they are. Lose rivets or rips in the bottom. I do not have a lot of experience with restoring boats but that one looks like it's in need of paint and a little interior TLC. For free, nice deal all you really need is a motor.

I actually just took it to water and it floats with no leaks and I havnt seen a single dent in it

hey, just add a motor, life jackets and a bailer. Your good to go.

Nice little tinny you got and for free even! Check out the transom wood, most likely it needs replaced before you slap a motor on it and go.
