Trim tabs are designed to control the attitude of the BOW . So it only makes sence that the Trim Tab SWITCHES do the same {control the bow}<br /><br />If port bow is high, you should use port switch down position.<br /><br />If port bow is to low, you should use port switch up position.<br /><br />If you will forget about the trim tabs and the way they operate, and think about what you want "the bow to do" the switches will work as designed. Most trim tab switches are marked <br />......BOW<br />PORT...STARBORD<br />.UP.........UP<br />DOWN...DOWN<br /><br />Remember the switches control the BOW and NOT the TRIM TABS.
