Shrunk my top cover?

Hi there I washed My Larson boat cover in the washing machine and put it in the dryer and now I can't get it to fit on the buttons to cover the boat properly is there anything I can do to stretch it out or do I have to buy new one?

If it's canvas wet it thoroughly and put it on... If it's vinyl ur probably sunk.

Did you use a heated drying cycle? Heat causes fabric shrinkage.

What sort of fabric is it? Mine is Sunbrella and the care instructions indicate to only air dry it.

tumble dry / air dry only. usually takes about 2 hours.

however if you work at it, you can probably start stretching it into place with some help.

What he said. Wet it and keep it wet as you try to stretch it. If that doesn't work either, you can buy or make 'snap extenders' like these...
