I'm almost finished with this restoration with this boat and trailer. My question is on the port side under the bow seat their is a cooler looking storage area. It has a drain to the out side of the boat. What is this for? Thanks

Any reason it wouldn't be a cooler? My newer boat has one in the passenger dash. Drain runs right out the side of the hull.

post a pic

could be anchor locker, if insulated, would be a cooler or live-well.

if the drain to the outside is just a small hole with the stainless escutcheon plate over it, it is an anchor locker.

Well, I didn't think it was a cooler cause it wasn't insulated, but my anchor won't fit......I think I'll go with the cooler. There is no plate on the outside just a thru hull fitting. Thanks guys this forum is awesome. You guys helped me a lot on my first restoration. I've turned a $300 boat into a boat to be proud of!! Thanks again!
