Has anyone ever taken the floor off of a 1992 13' or 14' S/C Alaskan. In my internet searches I can find no references to that the floored S/C utility boats having foam under them. Smoker Craft has no reference to foam in there utility boats in their brochere. Reason in asking is I recently purchased the boat and it is heavy , can't pick up a back corner. PO said it filled with rain water last fall. Wonder if foam could be saturated. Randy

Sounds like it could be wet. Or many some water trapped in a hollow area? I'd be doing some exploring under the deck. You could drill a hole, and check it out, then if dry, install a deckplate or hatch in the spot for storage, unless it's wet foam, it will have to be removed, and replaced.

If it doesnt have benches that could be foam filled instead, its got foam below decks. It would have USCG required foam somewhere, unless it was removed by a previous owner

Weigh the package, deduct the motor, trailer and misc equipment and see what you have.
