Engine noise on the radio. (not sure if this was ever discussed)

The radio in my boat was making a static clicking noise on some stations. I thought it was from my engine or bad plug wires..
I turned my engine off and still heard the clicking noise. I blamed it on the outboards in the lake near me. Yesterday I was boating
and listening to the radio with the static. For some reason I turned my depth/fish finder off and the static stopped.
Who knew? The noise was coming from the radar in my boat!

Could also install inline filters on the outputs to the speakers as well

Install a filter on the wire. They can be acquired at radio shack. They are called ferites.
