I am looking to get some underwater LED for the drain plug. The problem is that I have a boston whaler Rage 14 which has the drain plug underneath the boat facing down. I look at the LED on ebay if I install it , part of it is going to stick out of the drain. I don't know if that is ok or would the part drag water and damage the drain hole? anyone have install this before?

Ayuh,..... Find something else to waste yer money on,....

If this light is in the water stream it'll get ripped off, or cause other problem,....

They do make transom mount underwater lights. I have one and it really does help netting salmon in the dark. The good LED ones are not cheap though.
