What's the best fish trolling motor for a pelican jon boat?

I have a 11ft pelican jon boat, fiberglass/plastic type material, flat bottom so its heavy. i was wondering what kind of trolling motor is best for it and what kind of marine battery would go well with the trolling motor so it don't die too quick..

What do you mean by best?

You can buy a MK ipilot (GPS auto pilot and cruise control, fully remote), batteries, charger for a little over $2000.00


Or a simple transom mount 30# thrust model for about $100.00, then another $75.00 for a battery.

There are a huge number of options in between.
