shark ???

can anyone identify this shark. it was caught in 70 ft of water off the south shore of long island, NY.
i was fishing for blues and this doppy shark decided to inhale a glob of clam.
after bringing to boat i cut the line and released it.
FUN FIGHT on 30 pd test and light tackle.

Not a sand tiger (aka ragged tooth shark), and I don't think lemon sharks make it up to NY. I'm thinking young bull shark too. One of the baddest dudes in the ocean, pound-for-pound, and they can go as far as they like in freshwater. They've even been pulled out of rivers in Illinois after traveling up the Mississippi from the Gulf.
