penn slammer 260 reel

im looking to buy the penn slammer 260 reel and im being told it does not have a really good drag system like the larger penn slammer range can someone tell me if this is true?

It is not true.

The 260 and the 360 use the exact same drag configuration using HT-100 washers. The 260 would have a better drag than the 360 because of the lighter line rating. The 460 and 560 use the same configuration but use a larger drag washer as you would expect.

I use my 260 to jig Stripers. The reel has caught fish up to #40 without a problem.

My son runs a 360 slammer and the drag is very smooth, and has enough power to handle stripers up to 15-20 lbs if played well.
