Always looking for my next boat, (you know, this one is PERFECT! Well, until I see another one for sale)!!
This is a 19'- '85 Rinker, all set up for fishing, (I want a deeper "V" than my Grumman, for St. Lawrence and Lake Ontario).
It has a 140 4 banger I/O set up, needs a little "refining" but a good price.
It also has a 36 volt? #110 troller motor on the bow.
I THINK the specs for it says it runs @ #2100, short 2 adults, fuel etc.
My present boat, a '18 Grumman SF goes for @ #1200, short people etc, and I have a 12 volt #55 trolling motor that for the most part moves it along smartly, (hard to go bow to a good wind, but 99.99% of the time works well).
I can get the Rinker cheaper (I think) if I give back the #110 troller and use my #55.
Is the #110 over kill?
(I'm not hip on 3 batteries JUST for the troller), I'd rather have the 12 volt set up, so the motor can charge the battery.
Thought? Ideas? Jokes?
Joe
