Rev limiter

2006 Yami 50 TLR. Does it have a rev limiter? And what RPM does it cut in at? At WOT boat tach indicating 5650 my understanding is 4500 - 5500. The motor seems to run fine I'm sure the Faria tach isn't the most accurate piece of equipment out there. Would a 5% grain of salt be in order? I have felt the rev limiter kick in on my Harley a few times. and would think the Yami would be the same.

I have seen My 1999 C40TLRX hit 5800 at WOT due to a prop that has been run through too much sand and mud for years.
Yes the limit is higher than 5500
