Need some help here. I've got a 2005, 200hp VMax FI (vx200tlrd) that overheats at mid range rpms. Any speeds below on plane are fine and 4400 -5500 rpms will not overheat. Anything in between overheats within 1 minute. Once it overheats I can slow to idle and buzzer goes off in 30 seconds or so. Thermostats are removed. Pressure relief valve is new. Complete lower unit and water pump are new. All three temp sensors have been tested and work correctly. Motor has been flushed and tell tale shows a good stream.
The water coming out the tell tale is warm, not hot, while the buzzer is going off.
Anyone have a suggestion?
