Well, I am new to here, but have read a ton of posts and done a lot of research. I have recently acquired a Mckee Craft for practically free. The boat, motor and trailer are all 2001.
I have never worked on an outboard motor before. Only a Mastercarft inboard v-drive, and an old Yamaha wave venture jet ski. I am pretty mechanically inclined, yet this outboard is driving me crazy.

Basically, I need to take the oil pan off as the rear plastic piece (whatever it is) to the right of the water pee hole was old and broke off into the oil pan...Also, the water line going through there is corroded/full of sand and will not flow. I have gotten so far, but am baffled on how to get this thing apart. I bought a Selco manual, with no avail. Advice would be great before I chunk this thing into the pond...

Rubbers holding it there that make no sense

Pipe that is holding it in place also
