1998 yamaha 150 vmax dual prop. loud chatter while decelerating.

As per title, when engine heats up and at full throttle, I drop the throttle back and hear loud chattering from engine. Don't really hear anything when throttling on neutral. Oils fine, compassion is awesome! Any ideals on where else I need to be looking? Also, sometimes louder than some and when I throttle back slower, it doesn't chatter as much.
