No water flow through tell tale hole so changed impeller . existing one was fine but changed it anyway. The new one was very tight so had to tap it on. after running motor still no water. flushed out all lines leading to all ports with air and water. Water came out of all with hose. Put back unit and still no water. Was told to check under plate that impeller sits on but it was so tight I had to cut it off. In doing so I scarfed I little of the shaft at the base of the neck where the impeller sits. I know, pretty stupid. In any case, did I just screw myself damaging the shaft? Will water now get up in the engine after new impeller goes on? And lastly, I still have a water flow problem. If anyone can help out I would appreciate it. Thanks, John.
