98 yamaha 150 prov

I'm replacing seals in 98 model pro v 150 .I have it broke down to the lmpeller. All the impellers I have replaced just pry up with screwdriver this one seems to have somthing else holding it. Any ideas? Is it just stuck?

If there is nothing above it holding it in place, then it is just stuck and needs a little more convincing

Hi I got my impeller off their was somthing holding it on. it was a rig made of the same material ad the impeller cover with a peace of hard plastic under that. Not sure where it came from if it came off the cover or part of the pump. It doesn't show anything being there on schematics. I'll find out tomorrow when I go to buy new impeller. Thanks a lot for your help!

Part #s 10, 11, 12,and 13 show to be on that models parts breakdown, so I do not know what you have been looking at.
Make sure you pull up on shaft when locking it back into place.
New plastic collar may need to be used if you buggered the old one up getting it off
