Hi, I am almost done rebuilding the carb on my (new to me) 1998, 8HP Yammy and am stumped at one part about the fuel pump. The 2 check valves have a slight bend in them -beween the circular section and the straight arm section-which way should these be mounted facing towards the inner, diaghram sections of the pump? the convex side or the concave? Seems they fit either way but there has got to be a reason for the bend in them-I forgot to take a pic before dis-assembly :-(
