compression 120 all cylinders, good spark all 6 cyl, engine starts, idles, gets up on a plane & runs great. coming off the plane the engine flat out dies. but starts right back up. cleaned out all 3 carbs & are spotless. gas tank is portable & also spotless. fuel pumps have new diaphragms.
there is a hose that has been replaced that goes from the top of the engine block to the bottom of engine block with in inline brass check valve. i think its called a recirculating line. that line is now replaced with clear hose, seems like a lot of fuel is going thru that line when running...is that normal?

You sure its not sea water going thru that hose? AKA cooling water.
If not then my best guess is unburnt fuel from cylinders.

A picture would help.
