yamaha 90hp trim problem and year

when i press my trim button there is just a clicking noise under the engine cover and nothing happens is there anything i can try or is it boat and engine out of water and up to the garage for a new one ,also please can someone tell me the year of my engine i cant find it out anywhere it is yamaha 90 aeto 6H1 L 483589. many thanks paul

The clicking is the solenoid, not working or possibly working.
Test light and have someone at the controls.
Test both solenoid posts when you hit the switch.
If it has power on 1 then it's bad.
Power on both posts then the t/t motor might be bad??
