cheap set of new 2009 Yam 350s

Hi I am looking to repowerand have been offered a pair of new 2009 Yamaha 350 four strokes at half price. Can anyone tell me if there are any differences\modifications between the 2009 and current model? Any other problems associated with buying brand new engines that are 5 yrs old? Any comments appreciated. ...

Yamaha hasn't dated their engines since 2006 so there is no discounts for engines dependent on build dates. I smell something fishy.

No its a Yamaha dealer in the Mediterranean. Dont believe they sell many of these due to high fuel costs in europe. Hence these have been sitting on the shelf. I am going to look at them this week. Does anyome know if there are any modifications 2009 - 2014? Thanks
