Hello,

My F80TLRZ 2001 Carb engine was set away while I was dying of lyme disease. After being finally diagnosed correctly and treated for 3 years, I am ready to get back out on the water. I drained the fuel tank, and removed and cleaned the carbs. I dipped them in solution after removing all the plastic components, and blew them out with an air compressor. I thought I did a good job checking to make sure they were clean, the main jets were horrible, and I cleaned them, and the idle passages on top of the carbs really well taking my time.

I did check and both fuel pumps are putting out at the pump.

Now both upper #1 Carbs are not getting fuel at all. You can remove the fuel bowl screws and there is no fuel in the bowls on both upper carbs.

I am at a complete mystery as why this is the case?

Could it be the old fuel lines inside the engine, but why would both upper carbs not be getting fuel?

Thanks
Ed

probably stuff from the pumps and lines got into the needle and seats plugging things up.
Or floats hung up and are not opening the needles
Take apart and see what you find
