DF140 will noy always restart

I have a 2002 DF140 which runs great. The problem is every once in awhile it will not start and the trim will not work. I was thinking that may be the main power wire but have gone thru all the connections that I could see and everything looks good. When it does do this if I pull out the ecm from its holder but leave it connected it will start right up. When I wiggle it I can hear a clicking noise, there is a tan module behind the ecm but can not find out what it is from the exploded views. Any ideas of what it is?
