Very low water pressure tell/tale 2006 90HP 2 stroke

Have low water pressure at tell tale before and after water pump rebuild. Ran hose thru intake connection at top of motor and tell/tale has full pressure coming out. Any ideas on what to do next?

did you install a water pump kit or just an impeller?
I always use a kit with new cup and wear plate
Did the housing have any problems?
Maybe it needs replacing also

Did entire water pump kit and double checked impeller placement ect. Is there a way to check inlet to to power head via air or water pressure.?

drop lower again and rig up a hose to the water tube that goes into the water pump

Did that today and noticed water coming out of a pin hole in the water pump housing below the impeller plate. Is there suppose to be a hole in there and can that hole if not normal be welded closed from the inside or is that housing replaceable? Any help appreciated.

That pinhole is meant to be there.hook the hose up to the water pipe inside the leg after you drop the gear case.
