Hi, I am new to this forum so thanks in advance for advice. I have a yamaha 250hp outboard that when running at open throttle, trimming causes engine to stall occasionally. Sometimes it will be a brief pause and then throttle kicks back in after releasing the trim button. Somethings it stalls and then I only get clicking when trying to re-start. Even if I switch to second fully charged battery, all I get is clicks. If I trim down a bit, the motor will then start. All thoughts are appreciated.

Classic symptoms of loose battery cables or failing battery cables. Assuming the battery is in good condition.

motor model #s are good to post so everyone knows what motor you have,
but it does sound like voltage dropping too much when operating T&T
So look at the things Bosco99 told you to
