OK. I have a few other threads linked to this motor, but not this topic. Sooooooo................short story, my trim motor has stopped working. The brushes are bad. The hydraulic side is fine and I can get it to go up and down with a drill. Problem is, there are no parts available to replace the broken/malfunctioning part. Does anyone have an idea as to what I could do to get it going??? Any website that may have parts or a member here that may?
I took it to a local starter/alternator guy and he didn't even try (Will NEVER use him again-Jasons Starter and Alternator, Jesup, GA). I am going to take it to another shop and see if they can do anything with it. I actually robbed some bruses that didn't fit out of an old window motor and got it to turn, but it aint right, So I was hoping for some ideas and/or solutions. Thanks guys.............
