My 2003 yamaha 25hp 4 stroke outboard falls out of gear when the trim is up. It works fine until I get to around 3/4 throttle, then it comes out of gear and the rpms go way up. When I trim the motor down a little bit it does not do this and I can run the motor full throttle. It is not a major issue because I run the motor at low speeds more time than not, but im curious why it does this. Any input would be helpful. Thanks in advance!!
