I was driving home last night when the engine alarm went off indicating that I had low oil. I added a gallon of oil but the alarm will not shut off. Does anyone know how to get the engine alarm to stop buzzing. Its driving me crazy. Thanks

You added oil I presume to the boat tank. That tank and its sensor have nothing to do with a low oil alarm.

Remove the cowl and inspect the engine tank. Is it full or not?

If you have a Yam tachometer what do the lights or lcds look like?

Can you transfer oil using the over ride switch?

Keep driving with the low oil alarm activated and the buzzer sound will be the least of your problems.

Thank you for the advise. You were right on the money. The tank on the engine was low so I filled it using the override switch and low and behold the alarm went off and all is now right with the world. Thank you again and sorry for my inexperience.
