Hour Meter

2012 Yamaha f60tlr on a Smokercraft 161 XL . Where should I hook wires to for Hour Meter. I put hour meter in blank hole in dash. Boat is also 2012.

I would hook it to a circuit in the main fuse panel that has current with the key in the run position. Only draw back to that is if you have to have the key on to listen to music.
