1997yamaha 115 Manuel choke.
Had not run the motor for about two months.
Took her out,she starts right up with choke on. Take off choke she starts to stall. Put choke on again just for a moment she stays running for a few moments. Have to keep putting choke on and off to keep it running?
Tried flushing carbs with an auxiliary tank with sea foam ,and fuel system cleaner . Still the same ,thought gas in tank might be problem. That's is not it.
Installed new plugs ,no difference.
Seems to be a fuel problem, any help would be great.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a pilot jet is clogged - A carb rebuild will probably get rid of the problem but if that's an issue try putting a few bottles of injector/carb cleaner in the tank and try what you just did making sure fresh fuel (with the cleaners in it) stays inside the carb overnight and then next day try again it should get rid of the problem.

Thanks, I had same problem with a mower. Had to break down, clean carb .
Will try letting the boat sit over night? With cleaner mixture in carbs.

Looks like a rebuild is in order.
