Prop popping out of gear?

I have a Suzuki 225 03 outboard motor. I can go 15 miles an hr and then it pops out of gear. I had my prop checked and it checked out ok. Any answers to why this Is happening?

Could be a simple adjustment of the shift cable not fully engaging gears or Have you checked the lower unit oil for metal?

On an outboard motor, it usually would be a worn out shift dog. Not too bad, nor very expensive to fix,,, normally?
