bent skeg

quick story, neighbor in ajoining dock got caught up in wind and tied and bumped the skeg on my outboard and put a pretty good bend in it. the boats a grady 24 offshore the motor is a yamaha ox 225 .Im afraid if i try to straiten it that it will just break off. If i leave it will it hurt anything ? I drove the boat and it dosen't feel any diffrent. any suggestions thanks.

Some times they can be bent back in shape but without any pictures to see how bad it is bent, it is hard to say. Post a few pictures and I'm sure others will make suggestion as well.
