I am wanting to bypass the oil injection system on my 1995 dt90. What I need to know is what else I need to do besides removing the oil holding tank?

I believe there are oil level, and oil flow switches that set off alarms and reduce RPM.
there is gear driving oil pump and shaft that rides on the crank that would need to be removed along with the oil lines making sure to block off any openings left.

Why not just keep the oil system they are reliable gear driven pumps

I want to get rid of it because it is over oiling at an idle and it is easier to just mix 50:1 so I know everything is right, I have been working with this motor for 4 years and have yet to succeed in getting it to run correct

50 to 1 is what the motor needs at high RPM not at idle,
to meter the oil acording to crank shaft RPM is what the oil injection is suppose to do
If linkage is adjusted properly and it still over oils, maybe you need to check to see if seals at oil pump are leaking
