tech question on model #

My plate on my motor says 225TLRS which has 3 fuel pumps and no prime start. However my motor has only 2 pumps and has prime start which leads me to believe that it is a 93 model and not a 94.
Any reason for this?

Yamaha's parts catalog shows a 225TLRS as being a 1994 model. With two fuel pumps. And a prime start device.

Boscoe, where did you find this diagram? I can not believe it was online. Please let me know so that I can correct my resource for parts.

Go to Yamaha Outboards

Then, go to the drop down box under "Care and Maintenance". Then click on the "Parts Lookup" button. Fill in the data fields and it will take you to a specific parts catalog for a specific model.
