suzuki 50 hp 4 stroke trim quit

2003 50 hp trim has been off and on ,mostly on working.today the engine is up and now wont go. the relay clicks on the throttle button but not the engine button.its stuck up......anyone?

I swiched the blue and green wires but same result...clicks ,but not working

disconnect both of the motor leads where they attach to the relays.
Jump them to a 12 volt source (+ & -) to see if motor is the problem.
reversing the leads on the 12 volt source will change direction the motor turns

If motor turns OK then you have a problem with the relay or connections.

Sounds like you have a problem with a switch also if relay only clicks when using one of them

it turns out both switches click the relays, but only the up side

sounds like you have a bad down relay
