Suzuki control question

I have a 2004 DF115 that I need a control box, it has the old style round plug, will a Suzuki Na12s control box work on this motor?

I don't think so because the throttle action is reversed. I think it is possible to change the orientation by changing the link in the remote box to that for the 4 stroke. Can't remember all that I had to do.
