Just bought the motor, i know everything worked on it. Wired it up on my boat and this is what happens. Turn key to on position fuel and oil pumps run, tilt and trim on motor works, but when you turn key to engage starter nothing happens. No corrosion or bad fuses that i can find.
Problem number 2: on wiring harness colors don't match the controls wiring colors for tilt and trim. With the engine wiring harness i tried touching different colors to get the tilt and trim to work nothing happened except when yellow and black were touched a fuse was blown.
