Yamaha Battery/Power cables

Yamaha F115TXRZ

I need new cables and was thinking of building them from Tinned marine wire with solder on lugs.. What size wire would I need to use?? Cables will be 8-10' long.

Or would I be better off just ordering the Original yamaha cables?? Thanks.

Financially you will be much better off building a new set of cables. Plus, if you use tinned wire that is a benefit that you will not have with Yam cables that are not tinned.

I would think #2 wire would be appropriate. You might want to cut a section from your existing cables and use that as a guide for sizing the replacement wire.

The orginal cables uses #4 cable.
