This is my first Yahama, and I would like to find out what is needed to winterize
my outboard. I looked under the cover and there seems to be a connection to
attach a can of fogging spray. Is this correct?
And what other work should be done. Thanks

Re: winterizing

which Yamaha 200?
they make 2 strokes and 4 and the year might say if it is carb or injected

Full modle # usually says a lot

Getting all the proper info is like pulling teeth sometimes, little by little it come out

I'm sorry, hopefully this will clear it up. It is a 2003 Yahama 200hp-2 stroke outboard, fuel injected.
If you need the model number, I will have it over the weekend. Thanks again.

Re: winterizing

Definitely fuel stabilizer run through the system, I used to fog my carborated two stroke and I do know on the fuel injected snowmobile motors they have a built in "fog" button to do the same....Sherm

Hi, I have a question that hopefully you can help. My 2003-200 hp Yamaha 2 stroke has been stalling out at high speed first then at lower speed. It starts up right after with no problem. It seems that the gas supply is being cut off. Would you have any suggestions. Thanks

why are you posting this on an old thread on winterization

Just noticed you were the OP, and still have not given a model #?
