Hi boaters,
I own a 1999 Suzuki DF70 tiller four stroke pushing my 1700 Lund Angler. A couple of weeks ago it started making a muffled noise in low RPM's in forward gear. Nothing in neutral or reverse. It runs great seems to have normal power, always starts right up. But once in while specially after it gets hot, it will make a muffled noise coming out of the top end but only at low RPM"s in forward gear, once it reaches about 2500 RPM it dissapears, seems to have the same power at hole shot, i took it to my local Suzuki dealer, he thought it would be crankcase noise travelling up, checked it out changed the oil in the foot everything was good there. He checked my power head and nothing wrong with it runs like a charm. He couldn't duplicate the noise. Being an ex automotive tech myself, it almost sounds like a muffled exhaust noise or a low rattle of some sort.
Any Thoughts would be appreciated!
Thanks
