Hi all! I am replacing the console on my boat and I am curious about bringing over the gauges from the old console. The speedo and trim never worked, and I would just as soon not bring them over. That would give me just the tach and fuel gauge. My questions are the following:

1. Can I simply just not hook them up or do I have to change the wiring in any way?
2. What are the ramifications to the motor if they are not hooked up?

Thanks in advance for your time.

It makes no difference. Doesn't effect engine. Don't really need any gauges to run.

You would not have indicators of what alarms were if you do not have gauges

C115 only has one alarm. Overheat and that causes the buzzer to sound.
