Can I covert 75hp Yamaha to tiller steering?

I will soon start a floor and possibly transom replacement on a 15ft Sunbird. Most of the boats I've owned in the past have been 21-24 foot aluminum flatboats. So, I am used to having much more room inside.

This little boat currently has a center console and, I'd like to convert it to tiller steering. This '95-'97 motor has very low hours and has been maintained meticulously. I know 75hp is large for tiller steering but, if it's possible and not very expensive, I'd like to have the extra room.

Any thoughts?

Yes it is possible but it will not be easy, you will need to engineer a few parts ....
