1999 Suzuki DF50 cutting out at higher RPM

1999 Suzuki DF50 is cutting out above 4800 RPM, below that it runs great. Here is a video. Any ideas?

how much above 4800 ?is your tach accurate? sounds like your hitting the rev limiter.

tach is fine, boat is only going 19mph when it happens, definitely not hitting the rev limiter max RPM is 6300

cleaned out VST tank and changed out small filter (which was clogged) under high speed fuel pump inside VST tank. All other filters changed. Problem is still occurring..

Have you tried monitoring the fuel pressure to see if that is dropping as problem occurs?

If the VST filer was plugged then it would be a good idea to send of injectors to have them flow tested and cleaned

have not monitored fuel pressure, have to get a tester, I just pulled injectors, having them tested and cleaned tomorrow..

injectors were cleaned, leak tested ect, all good. went on test run today, same problem....

hooked up fuel pressure gauge, 39lbs. No drop at high speed. anybody have any ideas??

Motor needs good compression, spark, timing, and proper fuel/air mix to fire cylinder properly
if it is not fuel related then it must be spark, but have no idea about the 4 strokes
Normally you test compression, spark, & timing and if no problem is found you look at fuel
the newer motors need computer diagnostics maybe as they have more electronic devices

bringing it to dealer sat. Tried to get software but its not available to public. BOAT (break out another thousand) dealer has you by the B*lls..
