I have a tech manual, and I'm trying to remove the power head. I removed 8 bolts that hold the power head on, but it just wont' come off. I have a come along and the rear of the power head will come off, but the front won't. I have about 1" of clearance at the rear of the power head and lower unit, but the front it stuck! I'm pulling from the lifting lug that is on the power head, so maybe it is not pulling the power head up straight and it is getting hung up on a guidance pin. I've pulled the come along super tight, and shook the engine, but it won't com apart. It is stuck in the front of the engine. I don't know if it is the drive shaft of something else. Please let me know of any tricks.
