New to the Yamaha outboards, upgraded from a 1996 Force 120 so I needed all new rigging. Got the new harness, ignition switch, remote throttle and cables but must be missing a small 4 wire/plug (pink,green,pinkandgreen,and some other color wire) that I do not have. What is this cable and what does it do?
I have everything hooked up, the neutral safety jumpered, and I am not even getting a click when the key turns over. I know I am getting a service manual but help now would be nice.
