Suzuki DT75 Motor switch only, tilts up wont trim down, throttle switch works

Outboard Motor 96 Suzuki DT75 in prep to sell it. The switch on motor won't trim down but it will tilt up. It goes both ways if you use the switch on throttle.

What are the possibilities I can try before looking into replacing the solenoid? I've looked in the manual and can't find where to check the fluid for the tilt and trim. Is there a lever I could've moved to prevent it from working? :facepalm:

really? how could a soliniod be bad? If it works from the controls but not at thye motor, its the switch or a wire at the motor
